DESCRIPTION:
French mantel clock with 8 day time and strike on bell movement in gilt spelter case, set with Sevres type porcelain painted panels and dial on wooden conforming base, c1880.
CONDITION:
the case has pitting to the finish and wing of one bird is broken. The wooden base is chipped with gesso exposed in places. Still impressive. Ht 20 1/2"
